Electronic text collection management

The core infrastructure of ETC is TextGarden, an interactive XML database of etexts and other media where faculty may store collections of digitized primary sources along with scholarly annotations. Features include content management, granular searching, advanced hypertext, and blog-like interactivity.

ETC aids faculty in the creation of electronic texts from analog materials.

Geographic Information Systems support and development

ETC offers development and support of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for teaching and research, including software such as ESRI's ArcGIS and Leica Geosystem's Imagine. ETC provides customized training in GIS concepts and software use, and creates browser-based mapping applications.

CSES helps research groups and departments design, troubleshoot and install High Performance Computing resources.

CSES provides High Performance Computing resources including the adrOIT Beowulf cluster and the Princeton OIT Condor pool. These resources are available as teaching tools, prototyping tools and production research tools.
